Forty of the greatest pizza makers in the world are meeting in Tulsa. While here, Andolini's wants to make this an unforgettable experience by staging the world’s largest pizza party and set a Guinness World Record. This whole event will directly benefit Make-A-Wish Oklahoma. You can join the fun.
It's happening Saturday, January 21 at 5:45 p.m. at the University of Tulsa's Donald W. Reynolds Arena located at 3208 E. 8th Street.
Let's break the record!
This is an actual Guinness World Record event with specific rules.
Anyone age 12 and up and can participate. All participants must be in place for a finite time and simultaneously eat their pizza together within the allotted 15 minutes timeframe. Participants must eat at minimum 1/4 of a 10-inch pizza and drink a small water to be counted.
After that, Guinness will certify the attempt, and we all become Guinness world record holders. All you need to do is be on time, have fun and eat pizza. After the event, they'll be a post-party if you want to keep eating pizza and having more fun.
This whole event will directly benefit Make-A-Wish Oklahoma via sponsor donations and optional giving by participants and supporters. TU has discounted basketball game tickets for this event, so the only cost from you (unless you want to donate to Make-A-Wish) is $5. That cost provides you a TU game ticket, free pizza, soda or water and a certificate for being an official part of a Guinness Record attempt.
The current Guinness World Record for the largest pizza party consists of 1046 people and was achieved by Istituto Romano della Pizza and Marco Di Pietro, in Roma, Italy, on September 8, 2019. Come on Tulsa. Let's break this record!
